This private Oslo shore trip includes a walking tour of historic Oslo and a visit to the famous Vigeland Sculpture Park. Then you also have the choice to visit any two of the following: the Holmenkollen Ski Center, the Norse Folk Museum, the Fram Museum or the Con Tiki Museum.
After meeting your guide at the pier you start with a walk through the historic center of Oslo. The main buildings of not only the city but also the country are concentrated here - the Parliament, the National Theater, the University, the Royal Palace, and others. Norway is a country in which, along with the parliament, there is also a monarchy. You will learn how these two branches of government exist in a modern country. A walk along the main street of the city will provide an opportunity to see the daily life of the inhabitants of the capital of Norway.
Next you drive to the Vigeland Sculpture Park, one of Norway's most visited sites. This unique sculpture park is the life work of the sculptor Gustav Vigeland (1869-1943). Included are more than 200 sculptures in bronze, granite and cast iron. The artist also designed the architectural outline of the park which is a monumental artistic creation with a human message that is well worth seeing.
YOUR CHOICE - At the time of your reservation you pick two of the following to add to your private Oslo tour.
