When you disembark the ship in Naples you will transfer a short distance to the nearby yacht marina to meet your captain.
Your private boat excursion starts with a zip across the Bay of Naples where you will see the private villas and coves of Sorrento on one side and the island of Capri in front of you, The views are spectacular.
Along the Sorrentine Peninsula, you will glide past the sleepy fishing villages, hills covered with greenery and Mediterranean pines, and small wooden fishing boats returning from their nights at sea.
You will head over to the Amalfi Coast where you will have the opportunity to stop and swim, visit various villages, and experience the beauty of the unique coastline.
After Sorrento one of the first small fishing villages is Nerano. It is the home of the "Blue Flag" which is awarded to various beaches under strict criteria, signifying and boasting high quality and cleanliness of the sea.
Next you see a small fiord, tucked quietly between two
cliffs, where you will discover the ruins of an old Roman villa and a small beach filled with little fishing boats and crystal clear water.
You also see the Galli Islands, which are private islands off the coast of Positano. There is an underwater nature reserve in the middle of the archipelago and a beautiful view of Positano as well as Capri from both sides. This is where Ulysses heard the song of the sirens in "The Odyssey".
The view of Positano from the sea is one of the most famous views in the world. Cruise along the coastline and pass the world renown 5-star San Pietro Hotel, small hidden coves and beaches where you can stop for a swim off the boat if you would like.
The Amalfi Coast is home to mysterious sea caves and natural arches and rock formations. If you are interested you can stop to swim inside the caves to discover fossils in the limestone, stalactites and stalagmites.
Included in the excursion are a variety of beverages, snacks, towels, fuel and of course the captain. If you prefer to bring your own drinks that is also possible but please note that red wine is not permitted on the boat because accidental spills can cause staining.
Your captain will provide insider suggestions for lunch (meal not included) either in an exclusive bay at a seaside restaurant or maybe a hidden spot in the village of your choice.
Your boat is spacious, fast and sturdy to minimize wave movement. There is ample deck space and a cabin with restroom and refrigerators. Please note that all guests will be required to remove their shoes or sandals while on the boat.
