Copenhagen Shore Excursion

This private Copenhagen shore excursion visits the charming town of Dragor, one of the oldest fishing villages in Denmark. This is a popular day trip and you will understand why as you explore narrow cobblestone streets, fisherman's homes with tidy little gardens and the bustling small harbor.

Dragor Harbor was constructed in the beginning of the 17th century and today it remains the village`s focal point. The fishermen land their catch of flatfish, herring, eel and cod here. People meet, stroll along the pier and enjoy the atmosphere.

During your tour you will visit the Dragor Museum where you will find a collection of ship models, navigation paintings and interiors which tell Dragor`s history. You will also visit the Christian Molsted's museum, which is Denmark`s smallest art museum. The museum is situated in the heart of the old village in the studio of a local marine painter who displays his work.

You also have some free time to walk through the narrow cobbled streets to see the small colorful houses with hollyhocks in the garden. This tour is designed to allow you to experience the history from centuries past.
