This three hour private Copenhagen walking tour is perfect for those cruisers who want to see the Old Town up close. After meeting your private guide at the pier you immediately begin your walking tour. As the capital of Denmark it is important for you to "Meet famous Danes of the past such as one of Denmark's most popular Kings, Christian IV. Your guide will explain how the city was once a small walled town and the changes that took place over 800 years of Copenhagen life. The tour will focus on city life, people and places throughout the centuries.
In the old town you will see the Town Hall, Christiansborg Palace, the Old Bishop`s Palace and the Exchange, which is the symbol of international trade. You also visit the new district of Christianshavn and see the local Church of Our Savior. At the end of your tour, the guide will walk you back to the pier, or perhaps you'd prefer to explore on your own and enjoy lunch in a cafe.
