This Limassol shore trip is for those with an appreciation for wine. You will visit the local Wine Museum in the Erimi village and then a local winery for a guided tour and tasting.
After meeting your guide you drive to the village of Erimi where the Cyprus Wine Museum is located. During the tour of the museum you will learn about the long history of wine making in Cyprus from its very beginning to the present day. While you are here you can sample some local wines and also the Commandaria, which is a an amber colored sweet dessert wine which has been made in the foothills of the Troodos Mountains for over 4,000 years. Commandaria is considered the world's oldest named wine still in production.
Next you will travel to the village of Agios Amvrosios to visit the Zambartas Winery. You will enjoy a guided tour of the winery and then given the chance to try several more wines such as: Xinisteri, Maratheftiko red, Cabernet Franc, Lefkadha Rose, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Epikourios and Shiraz.
At the end of the tour you enjoy the fact that you have a private guide to drive you back to the port.
