Dachau was the first concentration camp operated by the Nazi’s, and in the 12 year period between 1933 and 1945, a minimum of 32,000 human beings were slaughtered at the site. The treatment of prisoners, by and large Jewish but also comprised of many other minority groups, is one of the most revolting and horrific chapters in human history.
