Sibenik shore trip visits a local Falconry where you enjoy a live demonstration about Falcons. Then you visit a local family's estate to see what rural life in Croatia is like. Included is a typical Croatian meal.
After meeting your private guide you depart for the Falconry center which is located in the thick pine forest of Dubrava. Here you meet the falcons which excellent sight, making them good hunters from the sky. Under professional guidance, you are given the chance to learn about the wonders of falcons. Included is a demonstration about the falcons and their hunting techniques
Next you drive to the Kalpic Family estate which includes three small old world style cottages in a picturesque and peaceful rural setting amongst animals, vineyards, gardens and an orchard. After a chance to see the estate and meet the owners, you will sit to enjoy a typical Croatian meal.
The meal includes an aperitif, salad, home made bread, meat course, dessert and a glass of wine. Local meats such as veal are cooked in a cast iron pot which is buried amongst burning coals and embers so that it can slowly cook to become very tender and savory.
After lunch you return to the pier in Sibenik.
